We signed a protocol with Migros Ticaret A.Ş. to implement a regenerative agriculture program together for the suppliers of Migros. As one of the biggest retailers in Türkiye, Migros works with 20 000+ farmers & suppliers. With collective effort, we will continue to do good for soil, for farmers, for the environment and for next generations.
Kiana Agriculture won the 2nd prize in the 'A NET ZERO FOOD SYSTEM' mission at EIT Food Showcase Event in Lisbon on November 8th. The event is followed by EIT Food Venture Summit where start-ups, industry professionals and investors come together.

This year, 2nd Agriculture, Food & Gastronomy Innovation Summit was held in Istanbul on November 2-3, with the theme: ‘Innovation from farm to fork’. Our CSO, Prof. Metin Turan was a panelist in this well recognized event where the impact of climate change on agriculture was discussed. Prof. Turan, emphasized the importance of biological solutions in helping plants survive while ecology is changing due to climate crisis, and in decreasing chemical fertilizer use to achieve net zero goals.
On September 12th, EIT Food hosted an event in Birmingham, UK, to explore how our food system can achieve net zero targets. By presenting Kiana Agriculture’s solutions in this event, we had the chance to make new connections for collaboration on activities in regenerative agriculture to reduce carbon emissions in food production.
